What are the registration fees, and can they be refunded?
Registration fees for Creating Change 2026 help cover production costs and sustain future conferences. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you need to cancel, your fee will be treated as a donation to support the ongoing work of the National LGBTQ Task Force. Find out more about ticket tiers and registration here.
When does Creating Change 2026 Registration open?
CC26 registration opens on August 12, 2025. Find out more here.
If you plan to submit a proposal, please wait to register until you receive your acceptance or decline notice in November 2025.
Where can I find the conference schedule or agenda?
The full, detailed schedule will be published in the PheedLoop Go! app and online before the conference begins in December.
Travel Reminder: Presenters and attendees should plan travel around the full conference dates: January 21–25, 2026. Presenter schedule requests cannot be accommodated.
When will proposal notices be sent?
The Call for Proposals for Creating Change 2026 opens July 2025.
Proposals will be accepted until September 16, 2025. Please review the proposal guidelines on our website when the form goes live.
All Creating Change 2026 proposal notices will be emailed in early November 2025. Please check the email address you used to submit your proposal.
How do I register as an accepted proposal presenter?
Presenters must sign the speaker contract to access the Speaker Portal, which contains a custom registration link under the “Registration” tab. Your portal also includes session details and scheduling updates.
How do I request an invitation letter?
First, complete your conference registration and payment. Then, email your registration payment confirmation to creatingchange@thetaskforce.org to request an official invitation letter.
Can I volunteer at Creating Change 2026?
Yes! Volunteers are vital to the success of Creating Change. Anyone who completes at least two volunteer shifts is eligible for a full registration waiver.

For accessibility-related needs or support, please contact Mark Maddox at mmaddox@thetaskforce.org. This includes support for elder community members and people across all age groups who may need assistance navigating the digital registration process or accessing digital conference materials.
Will childcare services be available?
Yes! Childcare will be provided at Creating Change 2026. To access this service, you must complete the childcare survey during the registration process.
What should I know about travel and lodging?
Book your hotel through our official CC26 room block after registering. More details will be shared via email and on our website in August.
