Create a Legacy: Include the Task Force in Your Estate Plans

The National LGBTQ Task Force has been hard at work for 50 years advancing LGBTQ+ civil rights and creating a world that is more fully free, equal, and just for all.
Our fight is not over, and you can leave a legacy that lasts and advances queer liberation by including the Task Force in your estate plans.
By including the Task Force in your estate plans, you are ensuring that the Task Force will be here to fight for freedom for the next 50 years and beyond.
Begin Your Legacy with Us
To help you get started on your plans and legacy, you can use FreeWill, an online tool that guides you through the process of creating your will or trust. It’s easy to use, accessible online and can be completed in 20 minutes. You can use this resource on its own or use it to document your wishes before finalizing your plans with an attorney.
Designate the Task Force as a Beneficiary for Non-Probate Assets
Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? If so, these are called non-probate assets, and you must plan your beneficiaries for them separately. Use this online tool to make your plans and designate us as a beneficiary of one or more of these assets.

If you’re considering making a residual gift to the National LGBTQ Task Force, we recommend using the following language:
I, [NAME], of [CITY, STATE ZIP], hereby give, devise, and bequeath to National LGBTQ Task Force, federal tax identification number 52-1624852, with the permanent address of 1050 Connecticut Avenue NW 65500, Washington, DC 20035, [ALL OR A PERCENTAGE] of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate to be used for its general use and purpose.
If you are considering making an outright gift to the National LGBTQ Task Force, we recommend the following language:
